About Us

Paul Beavers provides independent evaluation and technical analysis of roofing and waterproofing systems, with experience across commercial, industrial, and hospitality properties.

With more than 45 years in the roofing and waterproofing industry, he has been engaged by building owners, developers, investors, and institutional clients to address complex building envelope issues.

Prior to establishing his current practice, Paul was involved in the ownership and leadership of a large roofing and waterproofing consulting firm, where he worked extensively with commercial, industrial, and hospitality clients. Over time, clients came to value his technical understanding of complex issues and his ability to clearly assess system performance.

He is now focused on a more specialized, boutique practice centered on independent evaluation and expert analysis, providing a highly focused and individualized approach to complex assignments.

His work is focused on assessing existing conditions, identifying contributing factors related to system performance, and preparing objective findings for use by clients in technical and dispute-related matters.

Paul is a senior building science specialist and is one of the contributors to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Building Performance Testing Protocol, a reference standard used by testing professionals nationwide. He has also authored numerous articles related to the roofing and waterproofing industry.

He is regularly engaged in connection with expert testimony and has provided opinions in county, state, and federal courts.

In addition to litigation-related work, he supports due diligence efforts by providing independent assessments of building envelope systems for developers, investors, and property owners. Paul has participated in projects involving advanced building envelope systems, including U.S. Army Corps of Engineers work and developments incorporating LEED-related considerations.

He is a Registered Roof Observer (RRO) and is often engaged to evaluate matters related to the performance of roofing and waterproofing systems.
